Working therapeutically with children and families:
Creating contexts for collaborative conversations.
In this workshop, Glenda will focus on the process of therapeutic conversations with children and families, drawing on her own practice informed by systemic, narrative and appreciative approaches.
She will invite participants to join her in experiencing and participating in the approach she works with to engage children and families in collaborative conversations.
We will take time to reflect on the process of creating contexts for talking and listening, co-creating a focus for the work with everyone involved and connecting with the people we work with through play.
There will be opportunities to connect what we create with our own work with children and families, share stories of our work, learn from each other’s practice and practise through role play and small group exercises.
